Direct Connect Systems is a provider of custom wire harness and cable assembly solutions for numerous commercial and industrial applications. By using the latest industry standards and strict quality control procedures we are committed to manufacturing quality products for our customers while maintaining short lead times. Our in house documentation and procedures ensure that all orders are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.

1958
Founded as the LH Dickelman Company, a Manufacturers Rep. firm covering the state of Michigan. We sold motors, relays, circuit breakers, solenoid valves, power supplies, and industrial sensors.
1964
To better serve our customers by providing local inventory Michigan Lectrols Corporation was formed as a stocking authorized distributor and value added solutions provider.
1989

To enhance our offering of services and better serve our customers we began to develop our capabilities as a contract manufacturer of wire harness assemblies, cable assemblies, box builds, and custom controls.
2001
Management group headed by Dan Wissner completed buyout of company founder.
2007
Michigan Lectrols was purchased and Direct Connect Systems was formed by a new management group, continuing to be lead by Dan Wissner.
2008
Direct Connect Systems became ISO 9001-2008 certified and Registered
2016
Doubled the size of our facility to better serve customers.
2018
Direct Connect Systems became ISO 9001-2015 certified and Registered.
